Many hands and
hearts are needed to achieve our one day
event, and when God's people gather together in unity, great things
are accomplished! Can you give of your resources or talents?
Here's just a few
ways you could get involved:
- SHARE
YOUR GIFTS:
- Sing
with the choir.
- You
are invited to sing with the 100 Voice Community Choir
at the Celebration of prayer at Long’s Park on
Thursday, May 1. This year, all the worship and special
music for the evening celebration will be lead by the
choir, along with other local musicians. Rehearsals will
be held Monday nights
beginning March 3rd at Calvary Church, 1051 Landis Valley
Road, Lancaster. To register, please contact Amy
Fennimore, Choir Director, at 717-738-1955 or by email
at amyfenn@ptd.net. Please include your name, address,
phone number, name of home church, and voice part (soprano,
alto, tenor, bass).
- Set-up
and tear-down of sound equipment.
- Contact
the Lancaster NDP Office at 717-519-5220 to find out ways
you could personally use your gifts and talents to serve.
- SHOW
YOUR SUPPORT:
- Support
the many different events happening on April 30 and
May
1
by attending!
- PRAY
FOR US:
- Pray
for all who are involved in the planning and preparation that
goes into this event.
- Pray
for the many lives that will be changed because of National
Day of Prayer.
- Pray
for our evening speaker, Richard Blackaby; our
choir and our local worship muscians.
- Print
our Prayer Guide and be faithful in praying for your government
leaders.
- SHARE
YOUR FINANCIAL SUPPORT:
- Give
toward the overall expenses of the evening.
- Help
us purchase radio and newspaper advertising.
- Assist
with honorary guests' travel expenses.
- PARTNER WITH US:
- We need businesses who are willing to co-op with us. Could you help us absorb some of the expenses of printing, advertising, sound, lighting, video technicians, etc.
